Fischer Elektronik continue to expand their range of versatile cases with the release of new SGV desk-top enclosure. The basic design, which consists of 2mm aluminium plates formed to provide a shell with integral end plates is not limited by dimensions, and can effectively be any size required.
PCBs of any size can be mounted using the built-in sockets, and the cases are easy to assembly, using press-fit connectors. PCBs are able to be mounted in any orientation, including against the angled section for data presentation, or at the rear to allow connections, such as D-sub, USB or power connections. In fact, the design of the case in general anticipated using the angled section for differing purposes, utilising the smaller plate for switches or company logo, whereas the larger section is ideal for keypads or for displays.
Options include slotted side panels for ventilation for power application purposes, and fixing straps allow for wall or ceiling mounting. All sizes are available in three finish options, to include natural or black anodised, transparent passivated or a mixture of the above.
