LED lighting concepts increasingly call for new connectors using an almost white insulator, as traditional black insulators can interfere with the light distribution or cause shadow effects in the lighting design.
Fischer Elektronik has addressed this with a new connector series for LED inline header modules, using a 2.5mm pitch male and female headers in SMD format. These headers are available as two- and four-pole versions, with further versions upon request. In addition, the range features matching male-female mains connectors for free cable connection. Cables types for this range can be size AWG 24 - 20 and either flexible or rigid. The external body is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, whilst being robust in design.
The connectors are delivered in a "tape and reel" (TR) packing to enable efficient assembly.
